 A. Mom, The Video Broke (6:01)
 B. The E Ticket (6:11)

Introducing, or rather, not introducing, Syclops. Brought together by maverick production genius Maurice Fulton, Syclops is ...well, we’re not actually sure, all we can go on is the tracks.

Mom, The Video Broke is like no other record out there at the minute. Live drums, synchopated handclaps and out of control bleeps slide over a low frequency bass riff, blurring the boundaries between live and electronic. 3 minutes and 13 seconds later…..and in comes the kick, transforming what was a mental as you like abstract groove for ‘heads’, into the freshest take on what can be done with a dance record (that you can still actually dance to). At its heart Mom, the Video Broke is a 4/4 acid workout, but its 4/4 like nothing you’ve heard before……and just how often could that be said with any real conviction?

Running with the same bass frequencies, The E Ticket is a further delve into the margins of, “...played or programmed?” Remember when you first heard ‘Bug In The Bassbin’? Well its not like that track but listening to this is a little like the confusion of hearing that for the first time…Electronic clicks, drum snaps, whiplash cracks and rising, swelling jets of noise, melting into a beautiful spaced out synth and piano outro. All this overlaid with the nagging, repeat electro hook from the best horror soundtracks. Strange, but brilliant.

Laurent Garnier - "Absolutely stunning stuff"

Trevor Jackson (Output) - "Fucking brilliant"

Craig Richards (Fabric) - "This is excellent, Maurice production is as loose as ever.”

Twitch & Jonnie (Optimo Espacio) - "This record is AMAZING."

Ralph Lawson (2020 Vision) - "FOOOOOKKKKKKKKKKKKKIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNN AWESOME!!!!!"
